Two river rafters drown in Himachal

Shimla : Two people were swept away by the icy waters of the Beas river in the Kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh Monday .

Police said six tourists were crossing the river on a raft when it overturned near Kullu town .

Their guides were able to save four people but two of them were drowned .

The deceased are a woman from Aligarh and a man from Gaya .
