Sukh Ram’s son made Himachal minister

Shimla : Anil Sharma was on Saturday inducted into the Virbhadra Singh led Congress cabinet in Himachal Pradesh.

He is the son of former union telecom minister Sukh Ram .

Governor Urmila Singh , administered the oath to Sharma at the Raj Bhawan here .

He is a three time MLA from Mandi sadar seat . Sharma has also been a minister of state in the earlier Congress government . He has also been a Rajya Sabha MP .

The strength of the cabinet has now gone up to eleven including the chief minister . There is still one vacancy which will be filled after the state budget session .

The Congress won the state assembly elections two months ago and Virbhadra took over as the chief minister for the sixth time .
