Stolen idol found in Chamba

Shimla: Police have recovered an idol stolen from a temple in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district.

The theft of the Nag temple idol in Churah area was reported to the police on Saturday after which a search operation was launched. On Sunday police was informed that the idol was seen lying 300 m away from the temple.

The idol was handed over to the temple. But police is still clueless about the robbers who carried out the incident, reports said.
