One time relaxation for availing incentives under HP Industrial Investment Policy, 2019

Shimla : Himachal Pradesh’s Industries Department had notified the Industrial Investment Policy- 2019 on 16th August, 2019 to provide incentives, concession and facilities for promotion of investment in the state.

Major incentives include subsidy at 50percent towards cost of detail project report, interest subvention at 3 percent assistance for transportation of Plant and Machinery at 50 percent, transport subsidy at 3 to 5 percent, assistance for quality certification at 50 percent assistance for setting up of Effluent Treatment plant at 25 percent, Net SGST reimbursement at 50 to 90 percent etc. for MSME, large and anchor enterprises.

Most of the industrial units could not apply timely due to COVID pandemic. A big relief in this regard has been given to these industrial units by providing one time relaxation upto 31st March, 2022 for applying for various incentives defined under industrial investment policy, 2019.
