New Software to monitor HPTDC

Shimla : To help better monitor the running of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) properties a new hotel management software software is being introduced soon.

This was disclosed by HPTDC’s MD Dinesh Malhotra while presiding over the performance appraisal meeting of the field officers of the state run PSU here on Wednesday.

He said all the formalities had been fulfilled and tenders had been called to develop this software which would help in monitoring all properties besides handling manpower and other activities from the head office.

HPTDC has around 50 hotels across the state in some of the best locations. Some are even housed in heritage buildings.

But barring those located in popular resort towns of Shimla, Manali, Chail, Dharamsala and Kullu most are in loss.
