Himachal launches electronic health card

Shimla : The Himachal government on Wednesday launched electronic health card among five other health schemes.

The health card can be downloaded from google app by the name ‘HealthCardHP’

The electronic health card can be availed by all but does not include communicable disease. The annual insurance is Rs 30,000.

One of the schemes also includes free insulin for diabetics below 18 years of age under universal programme.

  A scheme for free treatment of Hemophilic patients and introduction to ‘Measles Rubella (MR) campaign.

The foundation stone of a special ward block of Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla to build 32 wards was also laid.
