HDFC bank opens 7 branches in Himachal

Shimla : HDFC Bank on Monday opened seven branches all over Himachal Pradesh . HDFC now has 35 branches in the hill state , a top official of the bank said here .

The new branches have been opened at Theog , Kotkhai , Mehatpur , Bilaspur , Gumarwin , Nadaun and Bharmour .

HDFC claims to be the first new generation private bank to set up operations in these rural areas .

The new branches will offer a host of services to customers , said Navin Puri , country head branch banking HDFC .

Till Dec 31 last year HDFC had a countrywide network of 2776 branches and 10,490 ATMs .
