Flights to Shimla from June 9
Shimla: IIC Technologies Limited with its air operator permit will commence passenger service (Air Himalaya) between Chandigarh, Shimla, Kullu and Dharamsala.
A spokesman of the state government said Tuesday the urban development minister Sudhir Sharma will flag off the flight from Shimla on June 9.
He said that the company will ply its aircrafts from Chandigarh to Kullu at 8.50 am, Kullu to Chandigarh at 9.50 am, Chandigarh to Shimla at 10.50 am, Shimla to Gaggal at 11.30 am, Gaggal to Shimla at 1.00 pm and Shimla to Chandigarh at 2.20 pm daily.
There are no flights to Shimla for over two years now.Shimla along with Mangalore are the only two table top airports in India.
