Reading Room shifted from the Mall to the Ridge

Shimla: The Information Centre and Reading room of the Himachal Pradesh government at Scandal Point Shimla has been shifted to the ground floor of State library on the Ridge .

A spokesman of the state government said keeping in view the coronavirus situation, the Information Centre and Reading room was closed as a precautionary measure as per the guidelines of the Government.

The reading room has a variety of newspapers, magazines and journals and is most popular with senior citizens and even students. It is run by state information and public relations department.

The offcial said that the Information Centre and Reading room will be reopened after coronavirus situation is over.
