Rs 110 crore pact inked by Himachal govt & Microtek

Shimla : A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) worth Rs 110 crore was signed today between the Himachal Pradesh government and Microtek New Technologies for setting up of a manufacturing unit of thermometers, online,offline UPS, High capacity invertors, oxymeters and other electrical and electronics products at Baddi in Solan district.

Director, Industries Hansraj Sharma signed the MoU on behalf of the State Government while Chairman Microtek New Technologies Subodh Gupta on behalf of the company.

The Unit would be completed by March, 2021 and will provide direct employment to about 450 persons.

Subodh Gupta also presented 1000 thermal thermometers to Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on behalf of the company.

Industries Minister Bikram Singh and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister J.C. Sharma were also present on the occasion.
