8 die in Darlaghat bus accident

Shimla: Eight people were killed and over twenty injured when an overspeeding bus fell into a deep gorge in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district Saturday.

Five people died on the spot and three on way to hospital. Most of the injured have been admitted to IGMC Shimla.

The accident took place near Darlaghat some 50 km from the state capital.

The private bus was on its way from Chirgaon to Mandi via Shimla.
