5291 teachers jobs up for grabs in Himachal
Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government today decided to fill up 5291 vacant posts of TGT and other categories in the elementary education department.
These posts include 1070 posts of TGT (Arts), 776 TGT (Non-Medical), 430 TGT (Medical), 494 Shastri and 2521 posts of JBT teachers.
The state cabinet decided to fill up 28 posts of Medical Officers (Dental) in the Department of Dental Health Services.
It also decided to fill up four posts of Surveyor in Industries Department and two posts of District Controller Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.
It accorded sanction for a project of Revenue Enhancement and Capacity Augmentation in Himachal Pradesh. Under the project the State Taxes and Excise Department will be able to access the real-time data of defaulters of GST.
To grant one time relief upto 30th June, 2023 to the defaulters of Passengers and Goods Tax, the Cabinet accorded its approval to waive off penalty and interest on Goods Tax of Passengers and Goods Tax (PGT). The State Government aims to realise the principal amount of PGT from Goods Carriers in Himachal Pradesh in order to implement Special Road Tax in lieu of PGT.
The Cabinet gave its nod to transfer the government land in the name of Railway Department for the construction of B.G. Nangal Dam to Talwara Railway line.
The Draft Development Plan for Hatkoti Special Area in Shimla district and Draft Development Plan for Mehatpur Planning Area of Una district have also been approved.
