SJVN set to cross target generation

Shimla: Satlej Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) has generated 8700 million units in the current fiscal. The set target is 8300 million units.

R N Misra SJVN chief R N Misra also said on Wednesday that the financial position of the power company was healthy.The gross turnover is 2498 crore and net profit for the current fiscal is Rs 1589 crore.

A dividend of Rs 116 crore has already been paid to the Himachal Pradesh government which holds 25.51 percent shares of the PSU company.

SJVN presented a cheque of 50 lakh towards the chief minister’s relief fund.
