Six pilgrims killed in Himachal car crash

Shimla : Six people were killed Friday and one injured when a car fell into a 300 feet deep gorge in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district , police said .

The family was returning after visiting a nearby temple near Rewalsar some 150 km from here .

The car was overloaded with seven passengers .

Police retrieved the bodies from the gorge with the help of local villagers .

The driver apparently lost control on a sharp , narrow bend.
