Shimla traffic plan changed

Shimla : With traffic congestion getting worse this summer the Shimla traffic police have come up with new plan and will begin diverting long route buses and trucks on bypass roads outside the city.

Starting Wednesday(today) the new traffic plan will come into effect.Now long route buses entering Shimla from upper Shimla, Kinnaur and Karsog will take the Bhattakupar road and reach the Tuttikandi bus stand(ISBT) via New Shimla on the bypass road between 7 am to 11 am and 4pm to 7pm.

Trucks coming from Bilaspur road will not be allowed to go beyond Hiranagar during these hours. Trucks from Solan side will not be able to enter Shimla and will have to take the Shoghi road via Anandpur to bypass the town.
