Shimla to have Book Cafe soon

Shimla is all set to have a book cafe in the heart of the hill station. Here people can read books along with tea, coffee and snacks.

“This will be the first book cafe in Shimlaand will be run by the civic body. It is being planned at the edge of the Ridge close to the Padam Dev complex.The architecture and decor will be traditional pahari,” Tikender Panwar,deputy mayor Shimla municipal corporation told Sun Post.

A DPR is being prepared and the cafe could cost around Rs 30 lakh.

The Cafe could be opened in the next few months,civic officials say.
