Shimla market to remain open till 10 pm

You can now enjoy shopping till late as shops and stores in downtown Shimla will soon be open till 10 in the night.

This is being done for the convenience of tourists.Usually holidaymakers head out to nearby tourists spots in the morning and return in the evening.

The shopkeepers are now split over whether to remain closed on Sundays or Tuesdays.

Opening of shops till late hours was tried earlier but did not take off due to labour laws .

It now remains to be seen if the change takes place his time.It isn’t still clear if the closing time will remain 10pm even in winters in freezing Shimla.
