Rajender Singh made Director PR Himachal

Shimla : Rajender Singh a 2000 batch IAS officer has been appointed Director , Information and Public Relations department , Himachal Pradesh .

Singh was recently posted as Director Scheduled Caste , OBC and minority affairs . This charge will now be with Nandita Gupta .

Singh has also been deputy commissioner Bilaspur and Hamirpur district .

The post of DPR fell vacant after C D Thakur DPR retired on March 31 here .

This is the lone posting order issued by the state government late Saturday .
