Now Himachal babus can stay cheap at Hotel Baghal

Shimla : Unable to attract commercial customers the HPTDC’s loss making Hotel Baghal on the Shimla-Bilaspur road at Darlaghat has now been thrown open to officials of the Himachal Pradesh government and state run companies.

Babus can now stay in an AC room for Rs 600 and a non AC room for Rs 400 a spokesman of the state government said here Wednesday.

No booking will be needed, only an identity proof will have to be shown to check into the hotel.

Several HPTDC hotels in the state including Baghal are undergoing heavy losses and are a drain on the state exchequer.
