Manali-Leh Himachal Tourism bus service starts

Shimla : Himachal Tourism started it’s Manali-Leh bus service on Friday.The bus will take two days to reach Leh.

The deluxe bus will leave on alternate days from Manali at 9 am and will reach Leh the next evening at 7pm.

It will cost Rs 2700 and will including meals and night stay at Keylong.

Sources said adventure seeking tourists have already booked most of the seats for the coming days.

This is one of the highest roads in the world.Passing through scenic Himalayan terrain including the Rohtang pass, Tanglang la and Khardung la passes. Besides glaciers and lakes.

The 474 Manali-Leh passes remains closed for traffic for around eight months in a year due to heavy snow and extreme cold.
