Himachal’s Kangra Central Cooperative Bank opens 172nd branch
Shimla : The state run Kangra Central Cooperative Bank (KCCB) in Himachal Pradesh now has doubled its working capital to Rs 6000 crore .
On Wednesday the bank opened its 172 nd branch in the hill state at Ukhali in Hamirpur district .
The state run bank has been able to add 27 branches in recent years after the state government took up the matter with the Indian Reserve Bank .
“Loans to the tune of Rs 2500 crore have been provided by the bank . All branches have core banking system and computerised banking services ,” said Rasil Singh Mankotia , chairman of the bank
