Himachal’s Basantpur gets new old age home

Shimla : A brand new building of the old age home is ready to move in, in Himachal Pradesh’s Basantpur

The Rs 4 crore building was inaugurated by the state chief minister Virbhadra Singh on Friday.

The old age inmates are currently living in a hired building.

Officials of the state welfare department were not able to tell reporters about the capacity of the three storied building.

Basantpur is around 42 km from Shimla. The building is located on a spur on a sunny patch.
