Himachal roadways to get 30 more Volvo buses
Shimla: Himachal roadways is set to add 30 more Volvo buses to its fleet.
Quoting the state’s transport minister GS Bali local newspaper reports on Monday said these buses will arrive in three instalments.
Ten buses have already arrived and will hit the road soon.
Himachal roadways was the first state in northern India to start inter-state Volvo service in the early 2000s.
These buses are popular but there has also been a constant criticism that they are poorly maintained and stop at dirty wayside dhabas where there are no washrooms.
Also there is a constant demand to lower Volvo bus fares which are very high!
