Devotional music soon at IGMC hospital

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh’s premier hospital IGMC(Snowdon) will soon have devotional music playing on speakers in wards to soothe patients.

Sources say while devotional music will be played in the morning and evening. During most of the time announcements will be made for better coordination within the hospital complex.The service is expected to start within a week.

But some have expressed surprise if a hospital is the right place to play devotional music. As patients might get disturbed.

Besides with the hospital receiving accident and trauma patients from time to time. And whether bombarding them with devotional music is a good idea!
