Delhi-Rohru HRTC Volvo bus service starts

Shimla : Himachal Roadways Transport Corporation(HRTC) has started the first Volvo bus service from Rohru to Delhi via Shimla and Chandigarh.

The bus leaves Rohru at 5 pm and will leave Shimla at 10:30 pm. It will start from Chandigarh’s sector -17 bus stand at 2 am and will reach ISBT Delhi at 6:45 am.The bus will reach its final destination Himachal Bhawan, Sikandra Riad at 7 am.

The reverse schedule of the bus is 8 pm Himachal Bhawan, Delhi ISBT 9 pm , Chandigarh sector -43 at 2 am, Shimla at 6am and will reach Rohru at 10 am.

The bus fare of the Himsuta Volvo scania bus is Rs 1426 per sear. An HRTC official said one can also book seats online.

The HRTC conducted a successful trial run of the volvo bus on the Shimla-Rohru via Kotkhai and Jubbal on 16 August.
