CCD opens second Shimla outlet on the Mall

Shimla : Café Coffee Day (CCD) India’s largest coffee chain on Friday opened its second café on Shimla’s Mall street .

Located in the centre of the Mall above Gainda Mull Hemraj one the oldest multi-purpose stores in Shimla .

The CCD outlet is spacious by Shimla standards as big space is hard to find in this old street where buildings fall in the hill station’s heritage zone and major construction and alterations cannot be carried out .

CCD already has a popular outlet on the other end of the Mall for many years housed in the Davicos building.

The coffee chain opened its first outlet in Bangalore in 1996 and currently has around 1400 outlets across 28 states  .
