As usual , Sonia to declare Himachal CM name

Shimla : After being backed by almost all the MLAs present the PCC party chief Virbhadra Singh moved a step closer to the top job,  the final decision was however left to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi .

At the crucial CLP meeting attended by 34 of the total 36 Congress MLAs here late Saturday a resolution was moved by PCC chief Virbhadra Singh which was seconded by senior party leaders Vidya Stokes and Kaul Singh .

The meting was attended by Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit and AICC general secretary Janardhan Dwivedi .

The Congress wrested power from the BJP by getting 36 seats the BJP managed to win 26 seats .

Outgoing chief minister P.K.Dhumal has already submitted his resignation to governor Urmila Singh who has dissolved the house .
