Tourist rush chokes Shimla roads

Shimla : The arrival of a large number of tourists since the past few days has once again led to heavy traffic jams in Shimla.

On Saturday the circular road among other roads were choked for hours.Around 90 per cent of hotels are booked in Shimla for the weekend.

Tourists have also descended in large numbers in Manali, Dharamsala, Kullu, Dalhousie, Kasauli and Chail among other places.

One of the main reasons for such a large arrival of tourists is the post Diwali alarming rise in pollution levels in Delhi and other cities in northern India.
