3300 apply for 7 Peon jobs in Shimla

Shimla: The number of jobless people seems to be rising day by day in Himachal Pradesh.Latest proof is over 3300 people have applied for 7 posts of Peons.

These posts were recently advertised by the state administrative tribunal sources say.

Even though the minimum qualification is matriculation.But many candidates with much higher qualifications have applied.

A lot of post graduates including MBAs have also applied for these class 4 posts.

For over a decade government jobs have considerably reduced in Himachal Pradesh.

The youth are forced to move out of the state or have to try getting work in the unorganised private sector both within and outside the state.
