Sach Pass opens for light vehicles

Shimla : The 14,500 ft high Sach Pass in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district has been thrown open to light vehicles.

This pass receives heavy snow and remains open from July to October.

This pass connects the Chamba to the remote Pangi valley.It is only 170 km from Chamba to Killar via this pass.Earlier the only route connecting the two places was the 670 km Chamba-Manali-Killar.
