HIMUDA to build flats in Solan, Sirmaur

Shimla :State run Himachal Urban Development Authority(HIMUDA) will build residential flats in Solan and Sirmaur districts under self financing schemes.

The HIMUDA board which met here Tuesday gave its approval to build 60 flats in Solan at a cost of Rs 40 crore.

A commercial complex with parking will be built in the industrial town of Parwanoo.

The board also gave its approval for the construction of 256 flats of four categories in Trilokpur housing colony of Sirmaur district .

The work will now be carried out entirely by the housing board instead of the earlier PPP mode.

It gave approval for the construction of 152 flats and four cottages at Sheel near Solan at a cost of Rs 68 crore.
Eight flats will also be built in Dharamsala and plots will be carved out at Nurpur among other civil works in the area.
The board decided to raise a loan of Rs 25 crore fro. HUDCO for building housing colonies near Nahan and Poanta Sahib.

The board agreed to start medical reimbursement schemes for retirees of HIMUDA.
