Is the monsoon reviving in Himachal

Shimla : After a weak monsoon so far , the weather office said Monday the rains could revive this week . Rain is  forecast across Himachal Pradesh for the next few days .

While heavy rainfall has been forecast in parts of Sirmaur district in the next 24 hours. Wednesday is likely to see rain in most places of the hill state.

The state capital Shimla and many other places awoke to a cloudy day Monday . On Sunday the state capital was lashed by a sharp shower in the evening .

Crop sowing has been affected in the state and apple farmers are desperately waiting for rain so that the standing crop is not further damaged by lack of moisture .
