Tourist rush in Himachal hill stations

Shimla: As a result of snowfall on Christmas in many hill stations of Himachal Pradesh the tourist rush has suddenly picked up in the hill state.

Even though the snowfall was light it has still excited holidaymakers who are rushing to the hill state.

Most of the hotels in Shimla, Manali among other places are seeing heavy bookings until the New Year.

Prior to Christmas tourist arrivals were below average say hoteliers and travel agents.

The weatherman has however forecast clear days for the next week or so.
