Solan gets tallest tricolour in Himachal

image Shimla: Standing at 121 feet Solan now has the tallest national flag in Himachal Pradesh.

The flag was hoisted by state chief minister Virbhadra Singh in memory of Bansi Dhar Aggarwal a social worker from Solan.

The flag post is at Jawahar park the highest point in downtown old Solan area.

Rs 10 lakh was donated by the Aggarwal family for this flag monument.

Along with Solan there are now four giant flags in Himachal including Shimla, Kullu and Dalhousie.
