Shimla hots up at 30.5 C , Solan 35.7 C

Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla recorded the hottest day so far of the season Saturday at 30.5 C even as it was a breezy day .

The nearby hill station of Solan had a high of 35.7 C. Dharamsala the seat of the Dalai Lama had a high of 33C while Kalpa in tribal Kinnaur was pleasant at 23. And so was Manali at 25.2 C.

In Una town bordering Punjab the mercury rose to 43 C. The weatherman says there is chance of isolated showers at a few places in the next 24 hours .

The tourist rush is at its peak in all hill stations across the state .
