Rs 700 crore solar plant to be set up in Himachal

Shimla : A Memorandum of understand (MoU) was signed between the state government and Frontline Delhi in the presence of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur here today for setting up of 100 MW solar power plant in Himachal Pradesh.

Principal Secretary, MPP and Power Prabodh Saxena signed the MoU on behalf of the state government whereas Chairman of Frontline Dr. Sanjay Sinha was signatory on behalf of the Company.

This plant would be established with an investment of Rs. 700 crore and would provide employment opportunities to over 700 persons.

Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Shrikant Baldi, Managing Director, Frontline Delhi Pushpesh Singh, Director Aditya Sinha were also present on the occasion among others.
