Himachal Shops Biz outlets to remain open day/night Dec 23 to Jan 5

Shimla: In view of the heavy holiday ahead of Christmas and New Year in Himachal Pradesh shops and commercial establishments will remain open for 24 hours from December 23rd to 5th January, 2025.

An official of the Himachal Pradesh government said this is being done to facilitate New Year celebrations and heavy rush of tourists.

This decision has been taken in public interest under the Himachal Pradesh Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1969.

An official notification has been issued today.

Hotels in resort towns of the hill state are seeing record bookings by holiday makers.
