Himachal nod to 13 industrial projects worth Rs 440 crore

Shimla : The Himachal Pradesh government today approved 13 industrial project proposals for setting up new industrial enterprises and expansion of existing units involving an investment of Rs 440 crore.

The State Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA) said these projects would generate 1025 jobs.

Besides eleven proposals of Investible Projects in manufacturing sector with proposed investment of Rs. 249 crore in Kangra, Sirmour, Bilaspur, Solan, Una and Shimla have also been approved.

The new proposals approved by the Authority include proposals
of Schott Kaisha at Village Kunjhal, Tehsil Baddi, District Solan, for manufacturing of Glass Ampoules and Glass Vials.

Vacxigen Lifesciences Chambaghat, District Solan, for manufacturing of Vaccines. Frontier Alloy Steels Ltd Unit-II, Village Kunja, Tehsil Paonta Sahib, District Sirmour for manufacturing of Railway Components Investment Casting, Railway Rubber Products.

Metrocraft, Village Bhatolikalan, Tehsil Baddi, District Solan for setting up of industrial unit for manufacturing of Ointment. Prosperity Drugs Bhatoli Kalan, Tehsil Baddi, District Solan, for manufacturing of Pharmaceutical Formulations.

Amar Hi Tech Engineering Industry Unit-II, I.A. Kandrori, Tehsil Indora, District Kangra for manufacturing of Revolvers, Pistols,  Rifles and Grenade Launchers.

Great Himalayan Farm Fresh Village Prei,  Kangra for processing of Milk, Apple, Pear, Plum, Potato,. NIJJER PHYTOCHEM, Singhan, Tehsil Haroli, District Una for manufacturing of Red Beet Powder, Carrot Powder, Tomato Powder, Chilli Paste, Peprica, Lycopene.

Amigo Food and Beverages, Jeetpur Baheri Industrial Area, Plot 16-1, Jeetpur Baheri Industrial area, Amb, Una for manufacturing of Hot Filled Aseptic Juice and M/s Him Valley Foods, Jeetpur Baheri Industrial Area, Plot 16-II, Una  for manufacturing of Potato Wafer, Puffed and Mixed Snacks.

Expansion proposals approved include proposals of Ambuja Cements Ltd- Unit-Suli & Unit Rauri, Tehsil Arki, District Solan for manufacturing of Clinker & Power Generation. RSA Technitex, Village Moginand, Kala Amb, Tehsil Nahan, District Sirmour, for setting up of industrial unit for manufacturing of Non Woven Fabrics.
