Himachal bans entry of tourists

Shimla :Due to the threat of Corona Virus the Himachal Pradesh government has banned the entry of domestic and foreign tourists in the state.

A spokesperson of the state government said today that the decision has been taken keeping in view the emergence of the positive cases in the neighbouring states. He said that the state government is taking all necessary steps and due precautions and schools and other academic institutions have already been closed till 31st March, 2020.

Besides, places of religious worship have also been closed and advisories are being issued to the public to avoid non essential travel and assembling in large gatherings.  
He said that the entry of all tourists both domestic and foreign nationals have been banned in the state till further orders.

Tourism is one of the biggest industries in the hill state.
