HASTPA cycle rally flagged off from Shimla

Shimla: The four day HASTPA Cycle rally was flagged off today from Peterhof Hotel by the Himachal Pradesh Chief Secretary.

The cyclists will take a round of the state capital Shimla
This would be followed by the main race flag off tomorrow from Mashobara and finish at Janjehli on 26th June after 3 competitive stages.
 
HASTPA is organising this 1st MTB Himachal Janjehli, in association with Himachal Tourism and government of Himachal Pradesh.
 
60 riders from around the country have registered which aims to promote promote cycling culture and showcase to the world the beauty of the terrain Himachal has to offer to the avid cyclists from around the world.
 
There are participants from Shimla, Solan , Bilaspur Kangra
,Mandi and Kullu districts of Himachal. Riders are also from Uttrakhand, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, UP, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh and J&K. There are also representations from Delhi  Police and Indian Military Academy.
