Free bus travel for Himachal govt school kids

Shimla : All students of government schools and other institutions in Himachal Pradesh have been provided free travel facility in state roadways buses to and from their educational institutions

This populist announcement was made on the 43 rd statehood day function at Sunni in Shimla district by chief minister Virbhadra Singh Friday .

The social security pension has also been raised from Rs 450 to Rs 500 per month .

It was also announced that pregnant women will be able to avail free travel to hospitals for delivery and then be dropped home with their newly born babies .
