Shimla The Himachal Pradesh Government today decided to continue with the curfew in the entire state in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic. The relaxation will now be for five hours instead of the current four hours.This will come into effect from Monday .
An official spokesman also said shops will be open during the relaxation in the curfew. Deputy Commissioners will decide the timings of relaxation if curfew and opening of shops in their jurisdiction by ensuring social distancing.
Hardware shops have been allowed to open besides construction in urban and rural areas. But barber shops, spas and saloons will remain closed.
The spokesman said dhabas, sweetshops and other takeaway restaurants will also be allowed to open subject to certain conditions.
