Himachal shops to open till 8 pm, govt offices with full staff from 1 July

Shimla : Shops will now be allowed to open all day from 9AM till 8 P M
in Himachal Pradesh While restaurants will be allowed till 10 PM from 1 July. Government offices will also start working with hundred per cent capacity.

Social gatherings,attendance would be allowed up to 50 percent of the total indoor capacity with maximum 50 persons, whereas maximum 100 persons would be allowed in the outdoor gatherings.

It was decided that inter- state buses including volvos would be started with 50 percent capacity in the state from 1 July and the e-pass would be discontinued from 1st July.

The Cabinet approved the formula for calculation of 12th  class theory marks on the basis of 10 per cent weightage to 10th class, 15 percent weightage to 11th class results and 55 percent weightage to 1st, 2nd terms and pre-board examinations and 5 percent weightage to English subject results and 15 percent weightage to internal assessment.  The results of class 12th would be declared by 3rd week of July.

The Cabinet also approved to grant one month vacation in schools from 26th June to 25th July in summer closing areas. Kullu district will have vacation for 23 days from 23rd July to 14th August.Besides this, Lahaul-Spiti district will have one month vacation from 1st July to 31st July. Teachers in the winter closing areas would start attending the schools from 1st July However, online studies for students would continue.
