Himachal eases inter-state movement of students

Shimla : The Himachal Pradesh government today allowed students or candidates and their parents to move in and out of the state due to competitive and selection tests.

The spokesperson said this section will not be quarantined if they exit or re-enter the state or vice-versa within a period of 72 hours.

The admit card issued by the examination authority would be a valid document to enter and exit the state and no separate registration will be required by the students,candidates and accompanying parent. During their visit to the Himachal for examination, they will be allowed to stay in local hotels or units registered with the HP Tourism Department.

He said that the labour brought from outside the State by the Orchardist, Agriculturist, Contractor, Project Proponents or their contractors to the work site will be brought with due approval of the District Administration and quarantined as per the guidelines of Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Himachal Pradesh issued from time to time.

But they will be allowed to work on site only after completing the quarantine period or testing negative.
