9 trekkers stuck in Bara Bhangal

Shimla: A group of nine trekkers who crossed over from Manali to remote Bara Bhangal in the high mountains of Kangra district are stuck in this remote region.

Three of them have suffered injuries.An attempt was made to airlift them but the chopper had to return due to bad weather.

All the trekkers are Indian Income Tax staffers in New Delhi.Police has established contact with the team and an attempt will be made to airlift them on Tuesday.

Bara Bhangal is a remote and sparsely populated scenic area in Himachal Pradesh.
