Himachal collects Rs 385 crore GST in Nov

Shimla : The Himachal Pradesh Excise and Taxation Department GST collections in November, 2021 stands at Rs. 385.21 crores in comparison to Rs. 329.64 crores in November, 2020 registering a growth of 17 percent.

A spokesman said the cumulative GST collections in current financial year upto November, 2021 stands at Rs 2815.53 crores vis-a-vis Rs 2023.70 crores during the same period of last financial year which is 39 percent more than last financial year.

The spokesman said It is worth mentioning that State GST revenues have continuously registered a positive growth in current financial year. Some of the important factors for maintaining the positive growth rate are monitoring of top taxpayers, performance monitoring of field functionaries, effective enforcement activities by the department, physical verifications of e-way bills, increased economic activities.
