35 students injured in Himachal bus accident
Shimla : Thirty five students were injured in a bus accident near Lunj in Kangra on Thursday. The injured students have been admitted to a hospital. The incident took place at Upper Lunj’s Samleta.
The group, which belonged to a computer centre, was travelling to PM Narendra Modi’s rally to be held in Dharamsala .
Of the injured, five students are seriously injured and have been referred to the medical college in Tanda. Some of the injured are being treated at the Community Health Centre in Lunj.
The students from a skill development course at a computer centre in Himachal’s Nagrota Surian were travelling to attend PM Narendra Modi’s rally in Dharamsala when the bus overturned.
Addressing the rally Modi said, “An accident has taken place. People were injured. I pray for them. The chief minister will ensure that all help is provided to them.”
The Prime Minister urged the people to exercise caution while going back from the rally. “I do not want an accident to take place. Please go slowly… let it take longer,” Modi said.
