Shimla’s BCS starts scuba diving

Shimla : Bishop Cotton School on Wednesday claimed to have become the first school in India to start scuba diving.

“The scuba diving course has been made mandatory for all students in BCS so that they can feel the underwater world,” said R.C.Robinson , headmaster of the school .

Scuba diving is a form of underwater diving in which a diver uses a scuba set to breathe underwater .

“BCS has introduced scuba diving as a part of its adventure activities and has created history by being the first schhol in the country to do so ,” Robinson told Sun Post .

The 153 year old prestigious school in one of India’s oldest public schools in the sub-continent .
