Landslide crushes 7 in Kullu

Shimla: Seven people were killed and eleven injured on Tuesday when boulders and debris fell onto a portion of a Gurudwara in Manikaran, in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu valley, police said.

“Seven people were killed and eleven when they were buried by a landslide at Manikaran” Rakesh Kanwar DC Kullu said.

There are fears people could be trapped under the debris.The incident took place at around 2 p.m.

In the last few weeks the hill state has seen heavy rain in many places causing extensive loss to life and property.
