IGMC free generic store getting popular

Shimla : In an effort to popularise the generic medicines store in Himachal Pradesh’s premier hospital IGMC(Snowdon) the government claims it is providing 394 medicines and items free here.

A spokesman of the health department said Thursday that this generic store was functional since Nov last year. But free medicines are being provided since March this year.

The store claims to be open round the clock and includes items like glucose trip,ketone trips, injections and many medicines.

The spokesman further claimed that these items are being provided free to all OPD and IPD patients.
